Dr. Alena Willette Kalamaris attended the University of Northern Iowa during her undergraduate studies and then returned to
Davenport, Iowa, her hometown, in 1993 to complete her graduate studies and receive her doctorate from Palmer College of
Chiropractic. After graduating in 1997, she moved to Chicago and began an associateship at Norridge
Chiropractic Clinic. She remained there for 4 years after which time she started her own practice, Access
Chiropractic Center, in Schaumburg, Illinois, in June 2002.

Dr. Alena cares for patients of all ages, from
infants to seniors. She teaches them that health and wellness are processes that involve: diet and
nutrition, exercise, plenty of water, a good attitude, and regular chiropractic adjustments whether
correcting a specific health problem or just maintaining your health. She states,
"The power of the chiropractic adjustment is amazing and I am privileged to see these wonderful changes in
patients' health on a regular basis. Once patients understand that healing comes from inside and that it
is every persons' right to be healthy, they become the most exciting patients to care for."
"Schaumburg is a wonderful family community. It is a place I've grown to love and I plan to stay. My
patients are the best any chiropractor could hope for and it's an honor to care for each and every one of
them."
Dr. Alena enjoys presenting free health talks to the community on a variety of health concerns facing our
world today. She also organizes a Woman's Health Beauty and Wellness Fair every fall, and donates her time
and resources to various community events and functions.
